WELL, I have always appreciated vintage BMWs and have driven (and ridden) one myself since College (1979) SO I kept my eyes and ears open hoping to find more of these excellent lights... well, You Guessed It! I found a vendor overseas in a region with little appreciation for older cars, and am currently negotiating to make these excellent lights available again. I am working on a plug-and-play install to avoid harm to the harness... both early and 'facelift' lights.

More good news- I am hoping to get them for LESS than the last batch -- probably because over the last 40 years just about all passenger cars have a center brake light from the factory. I assume the left-over 5238 lights are gathering dust in a warehouse somewhere, and the owner is desperate to get them out of their sight. Good negotiating point!

COST: I will have to see what shipping runs, the lowest offer they accept, and shipping from me to you - the easiest cost to figure. To reserve one I ask for a small deposit of $30 - refundable of course - by PayPal. Send me a private message, I will give you my email for this purpose and answer any specific questions you have.

An aside- the stock rear lights can be improved as well, to add lumens, increase the lighted areas, and boost reliability of tail and brake lights. Just ask...

This is kind of a feeler for now, so I actually do invite feedback from the community on this. Thinking about selling this, as I kind of want to move on to other things.
