My ebreak has been a little sticky for a while, so I am going to rebuild it before I end up with a seized wheel. I will obviously replace the springs, shoes, and hardware, but I have a couple questions about the other parts:

1. Should I replace the cables? Im normally all for "while youre in there" stuff, but I am hesitant because ive seen how much of a PITA the cables can be. My car has been a CA car its whole life afaik though. Should I just go for it? It seems like they pretty much never fail so I am hesitant.

2. What parts are actually necessary? The kit on FCP Euro includes the adjuster that sits at the top, and the actuator that sits at the bottom. I dont really see how either would fail so I am unsure of why they would need to be replaced. If anyone has any good reasons for either, im all ears.

Thank you for your time!
