I recently bought this as a project car to do with my kids, but it turns out it's too much of a project for us at this stage.

Engine / drivetrain

• M20B25. Cylinder head is off; was machined by the previous owner and comes with the car, with manifolds.
• Block is in the car. The deck has surface oxidation, and the bores haven’t been measured.
• 5-speed manual. A spare Getrag 260 is included.

Parts included (many new/sealed)

• Goetze head gasket, head bolts
• Bilstein struts (sealed), plus Bilsteins already on the front
• Lemförder, TRW, Bremi and Meyle parts, INA tensioner, Continental belts
• AKG rear shock mount kit
• Dinan chip (D900-2551)
• Radiator
• E36 steering rack

Body / interior

• Black respray over the original white (the jambs are still white).
• No rot seen. Surface rust only in the usual spots.
• Hood and driver fender have been poorly repaired from light damage, would want to replace before repaint,
• Tan leather but needs to be replaced.
• Needs new top, but frame is fine. Top motor disconnected, not tested.
• 14" wheels on 195/60R14 tires.

Missing: tail lights, front turn signals, kidney and headlight grilles, rear muffler, rocker trims, console armrest, shift boot, front bumper clips. Front bumper is included, was removed to assess frame.

Mileage: 141k.

This is a 32-year-old classic survivor. It runs, drives, and stops reliably, but it does need minor, typical E36-era TLC. In the spirit of total transparency for the forum community, here are the known issues:

• Speedometer is non-functioning: The instrument cluster stopped registering speed in April. The odometer is still working.
• AC is currently non-functioning: The blower works, but it does not blow cold air.
• Expect the usual minor cosmetic blemishes, typical
• interior wear (sagging headliner/door card glue common to this chassis)
