Up for sale is my 1993 318i Touring. Located in Seymour, TN (East TN) - ASKING $2,900

BMW E30 Touring Background / History
- Imported by me in 2019 from Amsterdam
- Purchased from Ivo Christov
- Repainted prior to my ownership in original Calypso Red

Current Condition
- Car is currently gutted (no engine/trans/gas tank etc) It still has the original glass intact and I have a new OEM windshield gasket and locking strip.
- Originally planned for full rust repair + engine swap
- Project stalled due to lack of time

Known Rust Areas
Windshield cowl
Front battery tray
Lower radiator support
Front inner fender areas
Both front floor pans

Rear of the car is surprisingly solid and in much better condition

What I have:
- ESM and oem bottle cap wheels
- Original front seats are gone but i have really nice tan comfort seats (But honestly if you're doing a restoration sport seats or recaros etc would be miles better but you know this I'm sure)
- Rear seats, door cards, carpet, rear hatch carpet and the rear hatch cover (which has some broken plastic)
- Center console, really nice dash, hvac controls and hvac box
- OEM windshield seal/locking strip and ALL OEM glass
- The tourings use a cardboard type material to hold the headline and that's in good shape and I have most of the plastic clips etc hanging around
- New Front brakes (calipers, rotors, pads and lines), new front hubs. (not installed)
- I also have the replacement body panels (both front floor pans, front battery tray, rad support, windshield cowl, and the inner fender plates like where the windshield washer fluid sits
- I also have this: E30 Engine Shaved Bay Plates – Rage It Parts
- UUC Sway bars (not installed)
- Fortune auto coilovers with the camber plates and custom spring rates
- Rear brakes and trailing arms, axles, rear wheel bearings are all still there so it's a roller

- Eyeball front control arm bushings and new control arms

I'm sure there's more but that's all I can remember right now

What's gone-
- Gas tank, gas and brake lines are gone but I do have some of the original lines for reference
- Engine/trans although I have the diff still in and the drive shaft (probably useless)


I have some pictures of the rust and can post more by request. The car looks great in the repainted areas but needs a lot of work in the engine bay area.

Local to Los Angeles and looking to buy a clean, mechanically solid daily driver. I am NOT looking for a project, a shell, or a heavily modified track car. I want something turn-key that I can just get in and drive.

My budget is $12,000 - $25,000 depending on the maintenance history and records. Cash in hand, ready to meet anywhere in and around California for the right car.

What I need:

• Year/Model: 1989-1991 Coupe (Plastic bumpers only). 325i or 318is. (Will consider a 325e if it's incredibly clean).
• Transmission: Manual or Auto. Open to both.
• Mechanical: Must be reliable. Needs to have a recent timing belt/water pump change with records. No overheating, no major leaks, smooth idle.
• Title: Clean CA title in your name. Must be able to pass CA Smog.
• AC: Must blow cold.
• Body: ZERO structural rust. (Floor pans, battery tray, and shock towers must be completely solid).

What I DO NOT care about (My plan is to wrap it):

• Paint condition (faded paint or peeling clear coat is completely fine).
• Cracked dashboards or broken odometers.
• Minor torn seat bolsters or interior wear.

I am a serious buyer, not a tire-kicker. If you have a solid driver that looks a little rough around the edges cosmetically but is perfect underneath, I am your buyer.
