    SOLD: 1988 BMW E30 325iS - SoCal

Let's face it, the E30 market is up right now. There are a lot of sellers trying to ask top dollar for mechanically neglected cars that have had cheap paint jobs, shiny wheels, and crappy coilovers added. The car I'm offering for sale today is not those things. This 1988 E30 325iS has been mechanically restored and fully sorted. All of the work was done by us, the Classic BMW specialists at BimmerHeads in Santa Clarita, California. This car was built to drive and enjoy and we have been doing just that with it for quite some time. Unfortunately, as it usually goes with car guys, we have too many vehicles and must thin the herd.

The chassis is an original California car with no rust and a clean title. The odometer reads approximately 228k and is functioning. The engine was replaced with a lower mile unit which has approximately 175k. During the engine replacement it was completely serviced with a new timing belt and fully resealed minus the cylinder head gasket. The transmission has been fully resealed along with the 3.73 limited slip differential. All suspension components have been replaced with new. This car was put together with quality parts from OEM suppliers. The suspension consists of H&R Sport springs, Bilstein B8 (Sport) shocks and struts, and Powerflex subframe, trailing arm, and differential bushings. The front control arms have OEM E30 M3 offset bushings. The car has all recent fluids with Ate brake fluid, BMW coolant, and Motul everything else.

This car is not perfect. Besides the addition of the 89+ plastic bumpers, it has probably had some paint touch up work in the past. There are some dings, bumps, and bruises. This is not a show car! This is a very solid driver E30. Something you shouldn't be afraid to take through the canyons or on a road trip. All of the car's features work. Air conditioning, heater, power steering, cruise control, power windows, etc. The air conditioning system was fully gone through and updated with R134a parts. (Not just the service port adapters!) The wheels are original optional gold 14" basketweaves with Falken Azenis tires. The car drives very well! I recently had it detailed and ceramic coated in order to best protect it from the elements.

Asking $17,900 or best reasonable offer.
If you're seriously interested in the car, shoot me an email.

    Thank you,
    Matt.
