1991 BMW 318i track car fitted with a manual 1999 BMW M3 powertrain
Powertrain has ~65K and is solid

This E30 318i has been fitted with an S52 engine swap from a ’99 E36 BMW M3 and is looking for a new home. This car has been used for autocross and HPDEs and has amazing, great sounding power. The powertrain is strong and features a new $2K Metric Mechanic 3:46 3 Disc variable limited slip (~100 miles) specifically designed for autocross.
The car has been mostly idle since an accident in 2022. Frame is solid but there is damage to left rear quarter. The car is street legal.
ENGINE
• M50 manifold conversion
• O2 sensor bypass
• Resurfaced head and valve seats
• All new high-pressure fuel lines
• New fuel tank pump and filter
• ECU tuned by Market Motor Works (93)
• Full Active Autowerks stainless exhaust
• Cat deletes as well lighter Magna flow muffler installed
• Mishimoto large performance aluminum radiator
• Large/High cfm front mount Pusher fan
TRANSMISSION & DIFFERENTIAL
• Getrag 5 Speed from the matching 1999 M3
• New guibo bushing
• Reworked driveshaft from same E36 M3
• Metric Mechanic 3 Disc, 3:46
• We also stock have the stock 3:25 diff
OTHER
• Brand new battery purchased Oct ’25
• Tires are 225/45R-16 fronts, 245/45R-16 rears Yokohama Advan A052 (purchased new Jun ‘20 but have few miles on them)
• Interior is mostly gutted (no A/C or stereo) but has a racing seat with 4-point harness and a stock front passenger seat
• Car doesn’t have a hood or rear bumper
