1997 BMW 540i 6-speed - $3900

It's time to sell my '97 540i 6-speed. These cars are hard to find in this combination of black with black interior and the 6-speed manual transmission. It has a 300hp V8 which is a blast to drive with the 6-speed. This was the top of the line 5-series for '97. 6-way power adjustable heated leather front seats in great condition, no worn spots and no tears. Power windows, power tilt and telescope steering wheel, power mirrors. Car has 153,000 miles and runs and shifts strong.

The Bad
AC just quit on me the other day. Was blowing cold up until then. I'm going to try and fix it but not sure if I'll have the time.
Salvage title - The car has been fixed and running great for 8 years since the salvage title was issued. No known issues because of it.
No speakers in the car - It had a system and all of that has been removed except the deck.
Few dents and dings.

Because of the salvage title and the AC I'm asking $3,900 obo for the car. With a clean title this car would sell for around $8,000. This is a lot of car for the money. I'm going out of town next week and would really like to sell it before then.

I don't have the time to take it anywhere right now but I had it shipped from Miami to Houston and it only cost $500.. That was a lot cheaper than I could go get it and drive it back.

I can't get a good picture of the front end, I have a hard time taking pics of black cars. Here's one that shows the bumper a little bit.



I'm not a fan of the bumper. If I kept the car I would put one of the M5 replicas from DDM on it. They fit great and are only $150 with the fogs.
