Up for sale is my Alpine White 1991 318iS. As many of you may know, I have too many E30's and this car needs to go to a good home! This car has an M42 engine and 5 speed transmission. Clean California title is in hand. This is a FUN little daily driver that runs great, gets awesome mileage, and won't let you down.
Chassis has 227k, drivetrain has 129k. Engine runs perfectly, never overheats, always fires right up. Engine has had all breather hoses and intake seals replaced. Newer water pump, thermostat, timing chain tensioner, spark plugs, and much more. Engine is running stock airbox with a K&N filter. Exhaust is a custom catback system with Magnaflow muffler and DTM tips. (Sounds good for a 4 banger). Oh, the car also has a large case 4.10 LSD out back.
Inside the car has E30 M3 leather seats in the front and a premium package leather rear seat with flip down armrest. Door panels have the Euro gray cloth centers. Has a nice Kenwood head unit with ipod cable and some sort of aftermarket speakers that sound pretty good. Also has a chrome ///M 5 speed shift knob.
On the outside the car has paint matched front and rear bumper trim with custom low profile paint matched side molding. Has a Volvo lip out front with a factory iS spoiler in the rear. Headlights are Hella H4 conversion with French high beams and a black kidney grille. In the back there is a Euro plate filler. Also has tint on the rear 3 windows. The car is dropped on stock weaves but I am unsure of what suspension it has. It's pretty soft though.
Problems with the car: Main problem, the blow motor for the heater and A/C took a dump. It works but vibrates like hell and needs to be fixed. The car is not dent free and does have it's bumps and bruises, nothing major but they are there. Minor rust developing on sunroof panel. Passenger side low beam is cracked. Front seats aren't in the best condition. Dashboard has the typical cracks you usually see in an E30.
