I stand corrected!
First of all:
tjones02- You have my number and you could have called me if you believed this information to be inaccurate. In no way was i trying to not give credit where credit was due! THis is your 1st email to me and you gave no time for me to correct this information:
B.S.! I built that car at IPB-Autosport! Valley Motorwerks got it through BAR and Ryan Gangemi swapped the drivetrain into this Bronzit body from the original white 325iX chassis it originally was in. Valley then got the "new" Bronzit through BAR.
If you do not correct your post I will speak up.
Seriously!!! Take your forum BS somewhere else!
To those who are interested in who did the swap:
As I stated before, I stand correct! Honest mistake as to the history of this build. As Walter Ford, from Valley Motorwerks stated, "it was truly a community effort."
The original project started from an IX chassis the owner had and wanted to use. It was at the owners sole request to have IPB-Autosport do the swap into the IX, originally. Everything was done accordingly, but the car never drove right because of camber and caster problems (IX issue, not IPB's fault). Tom Jones (tjones02) was a former employee of IPB's, hence; played a vital role in the original swap.
Because the car never seemed to drive right, the owner had an opportunity to get a chassis, which was provided through M3Ryan. M3Ryan swapped the drivetrain into this car from the owners 325ix which was built at IPB autosport.
Valley Motorwerks got the car through BAR and also played an important role in this car.
And finally, Impact engineering had gone through the car and were the final ones who had touched the car, before it came back to the owners garage.
This is were the confusion had come about. I was at the owner's house when Impact had delivered the car and I had assumed that it was coming back from this project. I was not aware of "this community effort."
Feel free to Call Ron at IPB-Autosport (916)453-1465 or visit his website at http://www.ipb-autosport.com
Feel free to Cal Walter Ford at Valley Motorwerks (916)636-9526 or visit his website at http://www.valleymotorwerks.com.
This is a car that has nothing to hide and everyone can attest for the attention to detail and perfection, this owner strives for.
Thanks,
Mike
