    (Utah) '89 325iX auto coupe

    SOLD!

    $2500 takes this cleeaan IX!

    Nice crack free dash!

This is an excellent example of an E30 325ix it has a 6-cylinder with an automatic trans and full time AWD with a limited slip rear and center diff. The Car has 194K miles on it now, but I am currently using it so it may hit 195k. Car runs very strong with the bulletproof inline 6. This car has been well cared for and maintained by BMW of Murray, UT and other independent BMW shops. Included with the sale is a folder with extensive service and repair records. Listed below is a list of some of the maintenance items that have been documented over the last several years.

The car has a rebuilt/restored Utah title. It had damage to the left front fender. Car was still drivable and the damage was easily fixed and professionally painted. The paint job isn't the highest quality, but from 5 feet and beyond it looks spectacular. The sport interior was recovered in black vinyl and cloth. The cloth is a bit faded, but there are no tears at all. Car comes with OEM console and drink holder. I added an MP3 input to the stock cassete headunit (wired in through the back, looks factory) and the cruise control functions properly.

The Automatic transmission shifts as it should. On really cold mornings it shifts a few hundred RPM higher than it should in first and second untill it warms up.Car is clean and smoke free. Includes full size spare on BMW factory wheel in good condition.

Items that need attention: Fuel level gauge works from full to half. It never show empty, so if you're not careful you could run out. I just fill it up every 300 miles or so. The struts and shocks are a bit soft and should be replaced for a nice ride, the central locking system works great, but the tumbler in the drivers door does not work. I just use the key in the trunk or passenger door to lock and unlock the car. The power steering does have a slow leak (a few drops a day). I recently changed the transmission filter and flushed the fluid to remedy the cold shifting issue and it is hardly noticeable now, but I must have messed up when I put the new seal on the trans pan, as it now has a pretty bad leak (about .5 quart a week) This should be a pretty easy fix, but now that I'm in school again I have absolutely no time to get it done. I have also noticed that one of the front wheel bearings hums at speeds over 50mph or so. Last saturday the drivers side window motor quit. The front tires are starting to show their age and I wouldn't call them worn out, but they probably are not suitable for driving in the snow.

Put a set of snow tires on and this car will unstoppable in any storm. When summer comes around, you'll be pleased to find out that the A/C blows ice cold and the cooling system keeps the engine cool. I drove through stop and go traffic in 100 degree weather with the A/C blasting and no sign of overheating. With it's extensive service and maintenance history I would honestly not hesitate to drive this car anywhere. It has tons of life left in it and has been very well taken care of. I'm really sad to see this car go, but I only have 2 parking spots and 3 cars!

What parts of the car have been repainted? The lower half of the rear bumper is painted body color, normally they're black.

it was a complete respray. Buy it by this weekend and I'll let it go for $2000. Otherwise I might just keep it and swap to 5-speed.
