    E30 325ix for sale - Central, MA

    Just trying to gauge interest.....
I've got an 89 ix that I bought from a friend of mine. I bought it as a commuter car, but found an e39 instead.

Car is an 89 with about 188,000 miles.
    4 door,
    auto tranny
    recently rebuilt transfer case,
    alpine white with black interior

Paint is about a 5/10 (about a 5-7 foot paint job)
Interior is about 9/10 (except for the arm rest up front)
Engine runs strong and tranny shifts great

    I don't know much about the ix's as I've only had a 86 325es and a 90 325i with a z3 motor swap before....

I know the car needs brakes, which I'll be doing this weekend. Along with a fresh oil change and new waterpump/t-stat and a coolant flush....just because

Its a great looking car with a coat of wax. Has typical rust spots on bottom of front fenders and beginning on bottom of a couple doors, which is par for New England. Interior is really clean. no rips or tears in any of the seats or carpet. The car starts right up without issue and runs great.

I don't have it on the road as of now. To my knowledge, the AWD works but I will verify this with the jack test this weekend.

    Asking $2500 or b/o.

Make offer on car, please be realistic
    Need it gone

    Email or PM:

I'll post pics when I get back to the house tonight or tomorrow.

I have an enclosed trailer so I would deliver the car within 6 hours of Boston, MA, which is from Maryland and Pennsylvania north to Maine. If farther, we will have to work something out on the fuel...

PM or email is the best way to contact me

    Thanks,

    - Jason

i agree the rust is unfortunate....

It would be a great winter car for someone. Or if you could find a fender + door and swap them out, it would be a great summer car.

I've priced up the parts to swap over to 5 spd and I've found everything for the swap for around $500. I just don't have the time to do it at this point.

I'm willing to negotiate on the price. I've already purchased another car and I'm running out of room in the driveway so I'd like to move the car quickly...

you can't just swap a manual tranny in an auto ix. the trx case doesn't would have to be changed or the oil pan is different as well.

Yeah, I know you need the manual t-case to go with the manual tranny. I know you need the oil pan, and the clutch pedals, and the bypass for the auto wiring, and you have to wire in the back up lights, ect, ect.....

I was only stating that I had found what I would need if I were to swap everything over and it was about $500.

So, if someone wants to find the parts and do the labor, expect to pay about $500 for the parts...

Am I way off on the price for this thing?

                          Any offers?

I remember a couple years ago these ix's were going for at least 3k to 4k in this condition... even auto's

this would be a great car for a daughter or a girlfriend or a first car
