1984 Toyota Corolla Trueno AE86
I bought this car to turn into a daily driver/mild track rat, but the swap is taking too much time for me. I need something running on the street much quicker.
• 216xxx miles on the chassis, 60k on the engine
The swap is incomplete as I do not have time to finish it. I do have a mechanic's number who is willing to complete it. No I cannot tell you how much he will charge you, because I cannot speak for him. I will give you his number, though,
THE GOOD:
• CLEAN title in hand
• UNCUT Wiring Harness partially installed
• Chassis is PERFECT. No dents, no rust, never been in an accident
• Lowering springs/stock struts (no I do not know what springs are on it)
• Paint is in GREAT shape for being 26 years old. No oxidation, clearcoat in very good shape. Can count all the scratches on one hand (mainly on the hood)
• Aftermarket headunit, capable of Satellite radio
• Tires have plenty of tread
• JDM AE101 Silvertop 20-valve 4A-GE
• AE101 Individual Throttle Bodies
• ITB Velocity Stacks
• 16valve header made to fit the 20valve
• Eagle Rods, Arp Full Race Bearings and Rod Bolts
• Custom exhaust with Supertrapp tip
• T50 GT-S 5 speed transmission • GT-S driveshaft
THE BAD:
• Is not running. Needs wiring completed and fuel pump.
• Car has been sitting without fluids for 3 weeks.
• Requires a few odds and ends to complete the swap (e.g. plastic clips, maybe a few sensors)
• Dash has few cracks.
• Interior not in the best of shape, but liveable
The swap can be completed in a week at most, and does not need very much else in the way of parts. I just need a daily driver quick, as I just moved to San Diego from DC and rolled my WRX on the way.
Will consider any reasonable trade.
Looking for the following specifically (plus cash to equalize the value, if needed): 240sx, 2.5RS Impreza, E30.
Would prefer something with coilovers.
I can only show the car on Wednesdays and Saturdays as I am limited on my rental car by mileage and it is currently 25 miles from where I live. Will only show it otherwise if you know you are going to buy it.
