    WTT 89 accord with 41,000miles for e30!!!

yes, I indeed acquired an accord 1989 sedan lx blue with 41,000 miles on it.
it is in *excellent* condition with no rust WHATSOEVER.
this is truly a gem, has been garaged most of its life, i am the second owner, previous owner was an old lady who apparently didn't drive it much.
this car is such an excellent shape thanks to its armor applied spray that prevents rusts and stuff.

if any of u are interested, please reply and ill post pics

whoops, almost forgot, yes it is stick shift

i always wanted an e30, but then i found this car, and boy, let me tell ya, it drives like a dream.
          this car drives pure awesome.

          but, i think i want a 1986-89 325i bimmer better.

if anybody is interested in a trade for a bimmer in comparable shape/mileage, let me know

youll never find an e30 with even close to that mileage... and if you do it will probably be around 8k

                that said, nice car.

List it on Craigslist. I'm sure someone will pick it up.

Shoot...list it on eBay, you may get lucky.

I'll keep bumping this thread once in a while for anybody who might be willing to trade.

The thing is, if I sell it on eBay, once I get the money, then I'll have to look for a 1987-89 325i, in good condition with low miles.
Who knows how long that might take?

That said, I want to trade cars with somebody here who might want an accord with low mileage for a bimmer in equal/close condition as this car.

Who knows, it might take a week or a month, but I'm sure I'll find one.

                    :borg:

Wow, this one brings back memories. This car is full of win in a EX. Good reliable cars.

IMHO.... I think it would be a hard transition for most of us here to go from German to Japanese. Two completely different driver mentalities

                        Idk, GLWT though

Sell it on CL or ebay and then scour the boards for a good find. Nice enthusiast cars pop up here all the time.

My buddy had one for 12 years and just sold it with 349,000 miles on it for 900 dollars... it ran forever.

These things are unbelievably reliable. To be honest I would keep it for a DD and find a nice purpose built s50 swap car for a fun summer toy.

well in what way does the drivability differ?

right now, the accord rides silky smooth. shifts with no difficulty, suspension absorbs road imperfections smoothly, the car feels light and drives like new.

will the bmw differ in any way?
I know for starters that the bimmer has an inline six and a lot more torque than the little 98hp accord

no you do not know that.

good luck trading a 41k honda for a 41k bmw.
