PICS WILL BE UP LATER THIS WEEK WHEN I HAVE TIME
Hey guys, so I need to sell my DD, so I can buy an e24 I'm interested in. I've owned this car since March, and since then it has been an awesome daily! The motor runs extremely well, one of the strongest m20s I've ever driven. The MAF kit really woke the motor up, and it pulls very nicely. The exhaust has a nice growl to it, but not too loud or droney.
Suspension wise, the car handles very well. It's pretty stiff, but not too stiff. I have some Ireland Engineering sway bars and all polyurethane bushings that I can put in for an additional cost. With those goodies, this car will handle on rails!
Specs:
1989 2 Door Alpine White 325i 5 speed
Tan Comfort interior
248,701 Miles
CLEAN title
Motor:
Castro Customs MAF kit + Chip
Aftermarket muffler, sounds great
Lower mileage "i" motor swapped in with around 125k miles on it
Head was rebuilt on the m20 about 10,000 miles ago, and the motor pulls VERY strong
New E36 M3 motor mounts (raised the motor, so that the bottom of the oil pan is flush with the steering rack)
New Timing belt
New Waterpump
All New coolant hoses
New Distributor Cap & Rotor
New Fuel filter
New Fuel lines for the fuel filter
Fairly new fuel pump
Fairly new front brake pads and rotors
Oil was just replaced
Brake fluid recently replaced
Transmission fluid recently replaced
Battery replaced within the last 6 months
AC does not work. Needs lines, but the compressor and all the other components are there.
Suspension:
Alignment just done
New Control Arms
New M3 offset Control Arm Bushings
New HD rear shock mounts
Fairly new Bilstein Sport shocks front and rear
E36 M3 H&R Sport springs (fit perfectly - stiffer than e30 H&R Sports, but not as stiff as the Race edition. These also have more suspension travel)
E30 M3 sway bar link conversion, with New sway links
Wheels:
15x7 et11 Alpinas
New 195-50-15 Falken ZE912 tires
Stereo/Electronics:
Alpine CD Player with Ipod hook up
Jeep Cherokee 6" speakers up front (had no speakers before I installed these)
Sony 6x9 rear speakers, in component boxes
Ellipsoid headlights, with 6k 55 watt DDM HIDs
The Breakdown:
The car runs and handles very well. The maintenance is up to date, and the car is very reliable.
The body is straight, but the paint is pretty dull and oxidized. I will try to hit some panels with rubbing compound and polish them out to see the results. I never spent the time to do this, because I honestly don't mind the paint. If the paint turns out considerably better, I will adjust the price accordingly.
One of the trim pieces on the front bumper is cracked as well. The passenger side fender was repaired, at some point and is currently only primered white. The driver's side fender has some damage on it as Wekk, but I have a freshly resprayed replacement that I can install or offer with the car.
In it's current state, without polishing the paint - $3300 OBO
If paint turns out looking the way I think it will - $3700 OBO
With IE sway bars installed, but no paint work - $3600 OBO
With polyurethane trailing arm and subframe bushings installed, but no IE sway bars, and no paint work - $3600 OBO
With polyurethane trailing arm, subframe bushings and IE sway bars installed, but no paint work - $3900 OBO
With polyurethane trailing arm, subframe bushings and IE sway bars installed, and paint work - $4200 OBO
PRICE IS FLEXIBLE
