    1997 Montreal Blue E39 540/6 M-Sport Hamann/Dinan/KW/UUC / yummmm

1997 540/6 M-Sport. The car is Montreal blue with black m-sport interior. The interior is basically flawless with no tears or marks on the leather seats. The steering wheel shows wear but nothing that is an eye sore. The car is equipped with 2x European Halon under seat fire extinguishers. The exterior panels are basically in perfect condition with no dings. The front bumper needs to be repainted because my roommate hit a dog, whoops! But there are no cracks on the bumper since its not fiberglass. The rear bumper also has a scuff which needs to be repainted due to someone tapping the car in a parking lot and driving off :| The engine bay is spotless. You can basically eat off of it. This 540 is basically the strongest running 540 I have ever driven.

    The bad:
    Airbag light on
Traction control light is on (although i'v changed the throttle control module with a brand new oem one, but its still on. Might just need to clear codes.)
And the already stated from and rear bumper.

I am asking 10,000 obo or will sell the car for $8,500 firm without the new idle control sensor ($270) and vinyl topped roof. Located in Orange county. Telephone number 949.636.7021

I will post more pictures tomorrow, and post up all of the maintenance that has been done.

Car has been extremely well maintained. Everything under the hood, mounts, bushings, piping, etc is basically on the new. I have basically every single receipt and record.

Interested, but do tell. What is the reference above to the vinyl roof being included or not included?

The clearcoat has started to fail on the center of the roof. My intention was to have the roof vinyled in gloss black.

What good would it do you to take lass money and take it off?

Because its not vinyl'd yet. So I would have to pay for it to put it on. But I will pay for it and put it on if the price is right.

Ah gotcha. I thought it was vinyl'd, and that you would remove it for a lower price on the car.

HAMANN CENTER CAPS ARE INCLUDED. I forgot to put them back on after getting the new pilot sports on.

Thanks. I get about 16-17mpg, maybe more or less. I haven't calculated it.
