The mods and e30M3SIG sticker mean its an enthusiast car, which begs the question why trade it in and not sell private. Unless someone runs the carfax and it comes back clean the max bid is already high. The car looks like it was tracked hard and who knows how many miles are on the 2.5L. The ground control camber plates are the old 1st gen design and are rusted!

I might take a look at this on Tuesday. Crossing my fingers that it can be hand for under 10k. It's already up over 8k now.

Let us know how it is. I'm curious more to how it even got there!

Saw this car and test drove it (met with the owner). It was pulled out of the auction so I can drive it. Right when I was ready to do the transfer I found a lot of disappointing news. This is NOT a 2.5 conversion. It has a VAC rebuilt head 2.3 with bottom end original, turner cams, 4 in 1 header, the back is fully cut out, bbs rs's are all curbed, no documents, leaking roof, really bad paint job with drips on both sides, broken front windshield, bad coils, and more. This will need a FULL resto. What sucks is that it has almost none of the above as stated. The only plus side is that the motor runs well.

Forgot to mention the previous owner tracked this m3. There are holes where the roll cage was and can see the ground through the hole. Rust bubbles on the metal of the door where the door sills are. It just sucks that he wasn't honest. I told him be real with me so we can work out an honest deal but it hurts when you really find out the truth. There is sooo much more wrong with this vehicle and took more photos of it as well.

That really sucks for the person who bought it. Good for the seller I guess.

OUCH! That's horrible to hear. I was totally swayed by the car and almost was going to bid. Minimum got to high practically the day it was posted, so I opt out. You just never know with these auctions where you cant PHYSICALLY see the car. Just my 2 cents.
