3.0l Engine was swapped for the 4.0l in 2009 by Autotech in Boonton NJ.
Current engine has all paperwork from Bavarian Auto Recyclers
During the swap, the engine got an overhaul and the entire intake manifold system was resealed with new gaskets and oil separator plate.
Spark plugs, real main seal, clutch pilot bearing and engine mounts were replaced as well.
The following parts were replaced in the past year or two:
Front and rear slotted and drilled brake discs
ATE Brake pads
A/C Belt
ASC Bowden Cable,
Battery,
750il trust arm bushings
cabin filter
both oxygen sensors (bosch)
front struts (bilstein HD)
windshield
wipers
non-return valve
valve cover gaskets
magnaflow muffler for a nice deep tone
oil and filter changed out with castrol synthetic
The shop didn't do the clutch during the engine swap because they said it must have just been done and had tons of life left.
I have all receipts going back to 2005. The car was very well maintained and drives wonderful.
