    Feeler 89 e30 F.S. - Los Angeles

SOLD Had this for sale a few months ago. Took it off the market when the Mini of one of my son's was totalled by a hit and run driver while it was parked, and my son was in need of temporary transportation, so dad to the rescue with the e30. Caught the driver, by the way. Good day for us. Bad day for her. Price lowered from $4,900 to $4,500 to reflect the miles driven by my son during the past few months. Here is the original posting:

Solid car. 89 325is Ireland Engineering and Groma Racing did all of the work on the build. Guessing the drive train now has 30k miles on it? I bought the car three years ago. It was being used by Ireland for the track, as a teaching car and to showcase his components that they carry. Full racing adjustable suspension (Bilsteins and Eibachs), headers, Ireland Engineering exhaust, light weight fly wheel, custom cam and pistons. No cats. Custom sound system done by Audio Advice. I took the car down to bare metal and resprayed it in matte black. I also had A/C installed, as it is hot in L.A. in the summers. There is a roll bar that Groma welded in. I added the 4 point harness, also had TNJ upgrade the rear diff. and a bunch of other stuff. Have all receipts and maintenance records. TNJ has done all of the maintenance since I have owned the car for the past three years. The car has no issues. I am selling it to help cover college tuition for one of my sons. Reduced to $4,500. This is as low as I can go. Send me a PM with any questions and I'll get back to you.

    Dan, NOOOOOOOOO.

Guys I have driven this car many times and it's a lot of fun. Runs great, handles great, very solid.

Thanks for the endorsement, Matt. I'm less than thrilled about this, but Sam's tuition beckons. There will always be that next car though....

Holy crap I remember this car. Drove around in it for a week or so. Car is AWESOME. Could not say better things. Very mild build but everything just works well with each other. Wish I had the funds.

                    Bump for you.

Thank you Josh and Jesse. No readers here appear to have the funds and/or interest, so this will be on ebay shortly, as my son's tuition payment is looming in the not too distant horizon. Hopefully casting a wider net will yield a buyer.

Ebay auction ended today. Highest bid was $3,200. Well under my reserve of $5,800. Do I have a warped view of reality? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I think around $5000 would be more like it.

Its hard to justify spending so much for an m20 e30.

Paint could be better, this probably turns a lot of people away.

                          just my two cents.

Don't take anything less then you want though!

                          GLWS!

Thank you for your insight. Deeply appreciated. I like the flat paint, but perhaps it is a matter of personal preference. Price is now $5,500, based on your feedback.

                            Best to you,

                            Dan

I think the flat paint devalues the car and makes it look like a beater (though it clearly is NOT!). Just my opinion.
