Anyone out there interested in a 98 FZR 600 with airtech plastic kit, and an R6 tail in trade for an E30? I just put new sprockets and a chain on it last season, new battleaxe on the rear with less than 700 miles on it, new ignition module, carbs were sonically cleaned, rejetted, tuned, and synced by a professional shop, new fork seals, Vance and Hines exhaust, new battery, and properly winterized before it was put away this year. Basically took a bike that had been poorly maintained and made it a safe and reliable bike again.
It isn't perfect cosmetically, the PO did a poor job painting the fairing when he replaced it, I'm sure it had gone over when he owned it, even though he insisted it had not. Front tire should probably be replaced sometime this season, might make it through the whole season, and the rear brakes should be done.
I am in MN, and would be willing to drive the bike to where ever for a trade, as long as I can make it there and back in a weekend.
I just cracked my oil pan in my 318is :( 4th one in two years, damn H&R race springs, my skid plate didn't save me this time. Would maybe be interested in throwing a little cash on top of the trade for the right E30. Would prefer a manual, interested in a 4 door potentially, but into 2 doors as well, would be really interested in an ix. Oh yeah... and I love sport seats! lol.
