I went from looking to update my suspension to posting for sale...go figure. I've recently been presented with an opportunity to pick up a very nice 71 GTV and something had to give, unfortunately it's the ix.
The car is an 88 5-spd with 176xxx miles and is in overall good condition. The engine is strong and maintenance is up to date. The car does need new control arms/bushings, but my mechanic stated everything else is still in good shape.
The body is straight with a new(ish) paint job - still needs a little detailing work, but doesn't look too bad overall. This was a down and dirty re-spray, not a concours car by any stretch, but looks good even up close. Recently fit euro elips that put out much more light than the stockers, and the tails have been painted red. I pulled the fogs because they were pitted and had planned to replace, though I still have them (both work). The wheels are Momos (vintage-y) and are in good condition with a little bit of curbing.
The interior is clean (no cracks in the dash), though the outside bolster on the drivers seat has a couple holes and could use a refresh, but the rest of the interior is very clean for the age. I also have some rear headrests I'll include (never installed). The car comes with the sport interior and heated front seats.
$3500 and the car can be yours. Feel free to message me with any questions. I'll post more pics later today. Rack included (towers, locks, load bars, fairing, two bike racks, snowboard rack, and brand new basket) for an additional $600.
