    MattAvino... you are correct sir.

Not a waffleswaffleswaffleswaffles... just not used to so much f^^^cking hostility when trying to sell a car.

The way I see it... If ya like it great! if ya don't ... that is ok too.

No need for this much BS.

Squidmaster... I would sell it to you cheap!! You sound like you would actually enjoy it.

I don't know where you are in FLA but if you are anywhere near Tampa, let me know,. I have entirely too many parts in the garage and like turning wrenches... We do have about 15 e30 owners that we get together with regularly.

How much of your pricing is labor? Around here, most members do everything themselves, and don't place a value on labor costs. At that 4.6k engine price, I'm wondering if you bought a new block and cylinder head.

Looks pretty good; 7.5k is kind of a stretch, but it's still appropriately priced (albeit, on the higher price tag).

Phew... Taking some heat for the price on this thread!

Where I come from, a car is worth whatever the other party is willing to pay for it.

Would I drop $7.5 on this one? Nope, but good luck, sir, as I think you'll find a buyer rather quickly as long as you're flexible on $$. It's a sweet looking e30, and I love 'em stock!

Stopped viewing this for a few days as I am embarrassed that I allowed myself to be dragged into an inane argument that resulted in nothing more than many folks (including myself) showing their immature side and aggressive tendencies.

                              I should have known better.

I appreciate the constructive people.... the others... not so much.

Anyone on this forum that has ever built a car understands how much: prep, paint, interior, etc costs to do.

I agree that a lot if people do their own work and that will reduce the amount of expenses that they would incur during a build (as i did all of my own work, aside from paint). I am guessing that there are some people on this forum who can paint but, I am also guessing not that it isn't many of them.

I agree that you can buy a nice e30 for 3-4k. I also know that, if you want something really nice; you will put much more than that into it.

I would hope that any e30 owner (who doesn't have the sole philosophy of running it to death and junking it in favor of a more refined and newer type of car when finances allow) would desire the value of the every-shrinking supply of e30s to increase over time.

I am simply not going to continue arguing with people about the value of: the car, the improvements that have been made etc. It is a foolish argument anyway. I cannot assist anyone who actually sees no value in worn out parts being replaced prior to their purchasing a vehicle. If you buy a car with worn out suspension... you are going to have to incur that expense anyway, same goes for tires etc.

Anyone has the right to an opinion and I can respect anyone's perspective, until; somebody decides to start flaming members instead of offering anything constructive.

I am not going to hurl insults and derision in the manner that I have received it.

I have found that any attempt at cordiality is answered with accusations of weakness; conversely; any answer that is construed as argumentative results in being called an a$$hole.

For those of you who were helpful, Thank you.

I truly wish all of you the best experience possible with all of your e30 endeavors, as it is simply; one of the most fun cars ever built.

                              Regards.

What a wonderful, low class forum R3V has turned into. It's no wonder I'm not on it much any more...

Moderators - any assistance here??? Probably too much crap to monitor.

                                Sad :-(
