$3200 OBO
I bought this truck in August with the intention of building it into an awesome expedition rig/daily driver. After a few months of driving it around, I came to the realization that I have NO free time to play with this truck or do any offroad/camping trips and won't have any free time in the foreseeable future. There are a 188,??? on it. It runs and drives well, trans shifts smoothly and crisply, no leaks anymore. It does not have the locking front and rear differentials
New parts w/in the last 5,000 miles
-Radiator
-rad hoses
-alternator and fusible links
-new passenger caliper
-new front pads
-new front rotors by PO
-new 285/75r/16 Cooper ATP tires (33"x11")
-entire rear section of brake system was replaced by PO (steel lines, load positioning valve, calipers, rotors, pads and e-brake shoes)
-I replaced the trans cooler hoses w/ new hoses
-newer tuneup, plugs, cap, rotor, wires
-new fuel filter
-new fuel hose/line to the filter
-new GM retrofitted charcoal canister
-comes with new front brake hoses (inner and outer), steel lines
-I removed the POS dealer installed "factory" alarm that malfunctions on these trucks and causes all sorts of BS issues. No problems since I removed it
The "needs" list
-gas tank leaks when you fill it over 1/2 way (figured that out driving home from CT with the truck!). I have a clean tank and straps from a Cali truck that comes with the truck
-has a "tick" that I have not officially diagnosed. I had a mechanic look/listen to it and he thinks it might be a lifter. I have not dug into it at all.
No rot that I found. There is some rust at the bottom of the doors that I was going to wire wheel out and treat with phosphoric acid then "monster line" the lower half of the doors and flares. The frame is solid but has some surface rust, cleans up decent. I planned on POR-15ing the entire frame but have no time. The seats are decent, no tears or stains, 3rd row seats are still in the truck. The dash is uncracked.
The truck is not pretty but would be a solid platform to start an offroad/camping rig. The birfs do NOT leak and I recently checked the front axle fluid level/grease in the knuckles and it is not soupy.
Any questions, please ask. Here are a few pics. I'll get some more early next week and post them up. I'd like $3200 OBO for it.
