This e30 has 191k miles (working odometer). Asking $3180.
Selling a project that went through many phases: being built for a friend who bailed, then it served a short stint as daily driver while my other e30 was under the knife. The other e30 is done and I'm a little tired of spending all my free time and money on e30s so I want this one to find a good home. This e30 has a lot of work done to it and only needs a few little things to really make it a great car. That said, I'm not in a rush to sell this car so don't low ball me. Also, not interested in trading for weed or tattoos or other cars. Kinda sad that things like this need to be stated...
Possibly open to trading for a motorcycle (certain Japanese bikes).
The Good:
4 cylinder m42 motor gets amazing milage :D
Manual top, clean with no rips
Tinted rear window - not 100% clear but you can still tell when a Crown Victoria is behind you :D
Side bumpers/moldings shaved
Shaved emblems
Shaved 3rd brake light (actually the old trunk lid off my other e30)
M Tech 2 (fg replica) front and rear bumpers
Borla muffler with dual resonated tips (no drone)
HID low beams in projectors
Yellow high beams
Windshield spray works
e90 drop hats up front
New rear shocks
Drilled rotors up front
New-ish Kumho tires (few thousand miles on them)
Odometer gears replaced with new parts from Garagistic
iPod compatible Sony head unit
16" Konig Remember wheels
Fresh satin black paint
Momo steering wheel adapter
Momo steering wheel
The Bad:
Needs new glove box latch
Cracked passenger tail light
Previous owner glued the shift knob to the shift lever and the shift boot is ripped...
--- Currently looking for replacements, and as they get addressed, the price may go up
Front driver seat has seen better days, same with the passenger seat. The rear seat is fabric/vinyl (I have matching passenger and driver seats available if you want to buy those at additional cost). The 'original' vinyl rear seats will also be included. The seats will come with Bavarian Autosport leather seat covers.
Needs new front shocks
AC needs to be recharged/drier needs to be replaced
The car was hit last year on the passenger side, right in front of the rear wheel. I used a dent puller/stud welder to get the dent out. I was unable to get a dolly behind the panel (probably due to a lack of experience) but the damage is really only visible up close or at the right angle (up close).
The car was originally red, but the previous owner decided to paint it gloss black. When I repainted the car, I took it down to bare metal in some spots, and in others I just went down to the original paint/primer (then re-shot primer/sealer). The convertible top storage compartment and engine compartment are still the original red. I do think the contrast of the gloss red against the satin black looks mean, but it needed to be mentioned under 'bad' since the car isn't all one color.
The top is not ripped, but if I were to keep the car, I would be replacing the top as my next project because I like my cars to be super clean when time and money allow.
