    1989 BMW 325is 2.7L Track Car

    | 1/5/14 - Back on the market |

For sale - my 1989 BMW 325is track car stroked to 2.7L by Dinan.
112k miles, street legal, smogged, clean title, very straight body (minor imperfections), paint in great shape - no oxidation, and meticulously maintained.
The E30 is completely gutted minus the dashboard (cracked) and heater core, and has no A/C or power steering - however I will include a power steering pump if you desire.

Only 8 total track days on the car.
Only 1 track day on the rebuilt Getrag trans.
New timing belt, water pump, radiator, valves recently adjusted, new clutch & flywheel, all new fluids, new plugs & coil.

    Modifications include -
2.7L stroker motor built by Dinan
    4.10 limited slip differential
    AKG Motorsport quick shifter
    AKG motor mounts
    AKG transmission mounts
    AKG 75D polyurethane offset FCABs
    AKG RTABs
    Turner Motorsport camber plates
    Turner Motorsport springs
    custom valved Bilstein shocks
Ireland Engineering front / rear adjustable sway bars
    Vorshlag 90mm wheel studs
front / rear strut tower braces
    reinforced sway bar bracket
    upgraded rear shock mounts
    Ireland Engineering oil pan baffle
    Setrab oil cooler
welded roll bar done by Evil Genius Racing
    Recaro Pole Position replicas
    G-Force 5pt. harness
    Headers w/ catless downpipes
Hawk HT-10 pads (pads & rotors only have four track days of use)
    brake cooling ducts
    Stainless steel lines
    NRG hub adapter
    NRG quick release
    Momo steering wheel
    etc...

YOUR choice between the following wheel & tire sets –

TRMotorsport wheels w/ mounted & balanced Toyo R888's (2 track days of use + 100 street miles)
Kosei K1 w/ street Dunlops (100 street miles)

Overall - this is a fantastic and bulletproof track/street car that can be driven to and from the track/autocross without hiccup, or serve as a sweet weekend canyon carver.

Located in the Bay Area, CA.

Any questions, please don't hesitate - I'll answer to the best of my ability.
    Thanks fellas!

Ha, great paint meaning no oxidation or dull spots. It could use a nice polish and wax, but nothing a couple hours of detailing won't fix.

It should be noted the front bumper has some nicks, but nothing abnormal for the mileage.

Could be a sweet weekend canyon carver too, since it's street legal.

                  Thanks man!

To those who have contacted me, I have decided to keep it for now and further build it in the coming months. Just smogged & reregisteded it, so time to have fun!

I'm curious about the engine. Did dinan do anything special to it?

If by special you mean built it, then yes.
