    1988 BMW ///M3 Rolling Shell

    here we go.
    Looking to buy a home
    the project car has to go.

    I purchased the car two years ago from dannyG.

    148k miles Chassis
    Clean Title
    Zinnoberot
    interior is Natural Tan
    I have the front/rear seats, door cards, with the exception of the carpet.
    The headliner is clean despite one tear on a seam in the rear that can be salvaged.

    i stripped the car down to a rolling shell to media blast the car and repair the rust. * pending*

    The car is STOCK
    Passenger fender has rust but can be salvaged.
    Windshield cowl has to be replaced. very common with e30 M3.
    ( I will provide the New OEM Cowl)
    all 4 rocker corners have rust.
    battery tray is clean.
    dime sized bubble on exterior side of pass rear pop out window.
    The front windshield has a crack in it.

        Wow, what a great price. This isn't a rolling shell. You have all the parts it just needs put back together. I would change the title of this thread. But I don't think it will last long on here.

          Yeah I saw rolling shell for 15k........ but then I saw an s14. That's not a shell, it will run and drive. It's just a project. Hope it gets finished along the way.

            Agreed, this is far more than a rolling shell. Perhaps "non-running"?

              Did SCR in Plainville CT give you an estimate to replace the cowl panel?

              Might want to post on S14.net if you haven't. Might also want to send message to Ron Checca as he lives not far from you.

                  i spoke with SCR shortly after buying the car two years ago.
                  they couldn't give me an estimate since the car was together.
                  I received a quote from legend metal co to fix cowl,rockers,etc for $2500.

                          any information on the drivetrain? any idea of engine condition? your price might be a steal, or it could be a total ripoff...you might want to list out a few more of the details of this sale. just my $.02. GL
