Posting up my 1988 325ix 5spd zinno coupel
I got totally fucked on the purchase and found lots of hidden rust

So my total loss is your gain

I tested the AWD system before buying and it functions amazingly, the original owner took great care of the car but it was a jersey car since new so...

223k mile car, records and title show under 50k so I'm not sure what to believe..

    Mechanically sound and runs amazing
    Rear bushings are showing wear
Original and straight body, no dents
Clean carfax and I am second owner
Mint black vinyl comfort interior with headrest rear seat and premium sound

It has rust in pass side rear wheel well, pass side floor front corner and pinch weld, few tiny holes in floor, and the tie down strap on driver side wheel well
It will also need both front fenders as the bottoms are rotted from ice and salt build up in the body kit.

I fixed the driver side front corner with OEM panels and treated the holes on the floor.

I have a full book of service records and second key

For all pictures please text me 410-212-5360

I will have pictures up later tonight when I am on a desktop

    Asking $1700 obo

    Hey E30budget,

I am interested in your 325ix, I love spending bucketloads of money on cheap rusty 325ix's.

Seriously if it will run and drive and just needs the cancer cured (which will cost more than its worth) I am interested. I have sent a couple PM's but haven't heard back yet so thought I would post in thread and bump it up.

I keep finding more and more rust on my 325ix as well, it was a Midwest car. I have to say though that if it was perfect I would not be able to bring myself to drive it in the winter. I will do what I can to keep it running and try to prevent further deterioration. Sounds like your car could be a good candidate for me.
