    Fs 88 ds e30 m3 .

Hey guys this is gonna be quite the 1st post.
I'll just get right to it I purchased this car with the hopes of doing a full blown restoration. I purchased it about 3 months ago from the 2nd owner for the past 26 yrs.
I'm bmw to the bone as you will see in the pic but raising my son and gearing my energy toward him is more important to me than turning 27 yr old bolts.

This car has every shred of documentation/repair/service recipt dating back 26 yrs. Its all origonal non salvaged rust free dry southwest car. The body is straight but the paint is faded, interrior is about 6 out of 10 dash has cracks. The car runs and drives great and the trans shifts smooth. The front bumper cover was removed cause the the previous damaged it pretty much a cracked lip, I removed it to have repairs done.

    222k mile of adult ownership
$20k is my asking price I figure rollers are selling for 15k, add 5k more for a complete stock e30 m3.
best way to reach me is my cell

Any pics of the usual rust spots ...rear qtrs, bottom of the front fenders, windshield cowl. I see you posted rust free and owned for 3 months so it's easy to overlook it. How is the health on the engine...Do you know the compression numbers ?

I'll do a compression test, rest assured there is no cancer on this car, I'm not a novice when it comes to inspecting for rust.
the tool kit in the trunk is complete .

Looks tired. But the documentation gives this a huge bump. Would love to see how this does on ebay. You should get your asking price and then some assuming everything is as you stated.

Spent the good part of the day cleaning it up today.

she cleaned up pretty good, now I'm thinking about possibly keeping it.

I'd keep it! The undercarriage looks very solid. A bit of paint, interior work and detail and this would be a good example.

GLWS, I would buy this but not the right time for me. Take a touring as trade?

I had no idea these cars were in such demand in stock form. I've gotten more interest than I expected with a few lowballs but a good amount of full price offers. Seems like the value of these cars will continue to climb and that I should hold on to it.
It would not be fair to sell to someone when someone else is offering the same. That being said I'm taking it off the market and gonna do some light restoration to it , somthing my schedule and kid can handle.

Mods please close or delete thanks.
