With a baby on the way im going to have to get rid of some toys so as soon as I can find a new car for my wife Ill be selling my 87 325is with just under 200k miles on it. I got this car a few months ago so I could take my 84 off the street and finish the restoration. This car has been nothing but a joy to own. It hasn't given me any problems and I love driving it but I need to make some room in the driveway, so my loss is your gain.
Body- looks like it was resprayed a few years ago and is still in pretty decent shape. I would rate it 7-8/10. Theres a few areas That the paint is cracking but it doesn't stop me from getting compliments on it everywhere I go.
engine- stock m20 burns a little oil but runs strong. I pull the plugs every month or 2 to keep an eye on everything and it starts every time I ask it too.
interior- judging from the carpet I think the interior was originally tan and the black seats and door cards were swapped with black. The drivers seat has a little wear on it but no major rips or tears. The dash is cracked but I have a dash cover I can include in the sale if its something that's wanted. The headliner is starting to peel away on the front of the sunroof. It hasn't bothered me enough to try and fix it but I think a little glue would take care of it.
Im going to include a lot of pics so definitely check them out. The car needs a bath inside and out but it cleans up very nicely. I had some downtime at work today so figured I would snap a couple pics and get the ball rolling on this. The car speaks for itself. Im a true BMW enthusiast and take a lot of pride in taking care of my vehicles. I haven't had to do much to the car over the last few months while I owned it. The owners before me took care of it and it shows.
My asking price is semi-firm at $5000. Im located in York Pa and if anyone is local and wants to come see it or drive it your more than welcome too. I will send pics and answer any and all questions I can. I think in the next few weeks Ill have my wifes car sorted out and this one will go on the market, but figured I would start the process to guage some interest. Thanks for looking.
