Hey guys
This is my car on here - just wanted to pop my head in and clear up any questions or misunderstandings anyone had.
I originally priced the car using the advice of some e30 folks. $31k was high but it's craigslist and people will chop you down. They told me high 20s is where it's at. I listed it on eBay for 28,5 to see what happens. I can always realist again and, yes, I am willing to come down from there. $26k is really my number.
For that money - and precisely to someone's point who wrote it earlier - I'm after someone digging on a e30 m3 cabrio like I was that doesn't want to spend $75k. I didn't price it based on the current costs of a true m3 coupe - the car is a totally separate thing all together.
The actual m3 coupes are fun, have increased in value, and have a great look. I could have bought a coupe. But I wanted a convertible and I wanted something faster than the s14. So this was the most direct way I could make this happen.
No smoke and mirrors. Anyone can see the bills. Figure base cost of clean e30 325, engine swap, body/coil overs/ect, new paint, new convertible top, redone wheels and $5k tuneup at guten parts. Where you would be (unless you own a shop) is around that number.Comment

Yep - it sold twice on eBay in the fall. Both were deadbeat buyers.
Now that the weather has broken out east I figured it's time to go back for sale again. Fortunately my neighbor didn't sell his house!
Anyone on the forums is interested in this car obviously I will do a better deal than what's listed on eBay. Feel free to contact me.Comment

"I'd probably take the E30 M3 in this case just because I love that little car, and how tanky that inline 6 is." - thecj
