I purchased the car from larchmere imports in Cleveland Ohio which is a well regarded BMW shop. They were the shop that was maintaining the car for 10 years prior to them owning it and came to own it when the timing belt went and the owner didn't want to fix it. It has only been driven about 2000 miles per year on average as a summer cruiser only.
I have all of the service records from the previous owner while it was maintained at larchmere but below is a list of important stuff done just before I bought it.
top end was redone with a valve job
Obviously timing belt
Brand new top
New service interval board
ALL seals/fluids in the transmission
New shifter (shifter is tighter than new now)
All seals/fluids in the rear diff
Oil pan gasket
Rear half of exhaust brand new.
Wheels balanced and rotated.
A/C blows cold as ice
Injectors done last week.
I can hook you up with the shop I was going to have install an s50 this winter for extremely inexpensive.
