That is gorgeous! I'm not familiar with the German models, or what's eligible for import to the US, but that looks very nice.Comment

Thank you! It would be really easy to import my car to the US because it's a 1988 model year.
From the U.S. Customs and Border Protection website:
All you would need to do is fill out two forms and fax them in advance to the location where you would be crossing the border. PM me for more details if you're interested. :)Generally, classic or antique vehicles are exempt from Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and Department of Transportation (DOT) pollution and safety requirements.
If the vehicle is at least 21 years old, there are no EPA compliance requirements upon importation.
A motor vehicle that is at least 25 years old can be lawfully imported into the U.S. without regard to whether it complies with all applicable DOT Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS).

I've had very strong interest, but the car hasn't sold yet. I'm dropping the price by $1,000 to cover travel or shipping expenses.

Sold! This car meant a lot to me, and I'm really going to miss it. :puppy:
I'm ecstatic that I've found a great new home for it, and wish the new owner as much enjoyment as I've had with it. :D
