Running manual coupe wanted - North NJ (willing to travel)

Hey all, I've decided I want another money pit. It seems I can't stop reminiscing about my first car, my beloved 318is.

I'm open to traveling within the tristate area and surrounding north east area, and would like something that isn't too much of a project. Straight body is a must, and decent paint and a dependable drivetrain would also be huge plusses. Don't want an IX.

Little maintenance items needed would be ok but I'm not interested in something that needs a clutch or a new motor entirely.

I have around 5k to spend, but not much more.

My Dad has an 84 325e with cloth sport seats and 5-speed. Very straight body with mostly original paint. Interior is clean. 107,000 original miles on working odometer. Prior and current owner are older adults. Car has not been abused or modified. $5250 in Burlington, NC.
