    TURBOCHARGED/Intercooled 325i $8000 jdturbocharging system

7000$obo call 765-376-8827 and ask for josh if interested. I'd like to sell this by next friday Sept 29th when i leave for Detroit, if at all possible but isn't necessary.

Video of car doing a slow driveby (my brother was driving, so i wouldn't let him boost it)

Well, after building this car last quarter at school, I realized I have no money left to even live. I hate to sell this considering the massive work it took to finish, but I can't afford to hold onto it. Sooo....after giving my reasons for selling, here's what's for sale. Almost all parts listed have less than 3000K miles on them.

    Vehicle:

    Custom Turbocharged/Intercooled 325i
    120,xxx original miles
Black vinyl interior with charcoal carpet

    Performance Specs @ 7psi: (using a g-tech pro accelerometer with 3000lb weight)

    0-60mph: 5.6sec (All season 225/50/15 tires)
1/4 mile: 14.0sec @102mph (would run much faster on a grippy track)
Horsepower: 242whp (3rd/4th gear pull with 7psi max boost showing)
(just an estimate although the g-tech has been pretty accurate for me in the past)

    Turbocharger System Specs:

-T3/T4 Turbo w/ .63a/r exhaust housing, .50a/r TO4E compressor with 57 trim wheel size capable of easily 300hp

-304 Thick Wall Stainless steel tubular turbo adapter with external wastegate provision, CNC'd custom flanges TIG welded(jdturbocharging design)

-TIG welded mild steel Intercooler pipe (high temp black painted) with silicone couplings, and T-bolt clamps in volitile areas (never blows a charge pipe at 7psi)

-Huge 50MM External Wastegate (easily controls boost without creeping)

-Huge 3"x12"x24" Bar/Plate Intercooler (flow as much power as you can put at it)

-Turbo XS Style dual horn BOV (very loud)

-3" full mandrel bent downpipe with high temp heat wrap and O2 sensor bung welded on.

-Full 3" exhaust with strait through perforated Dynomax resonator and strait throgh perforated Muffler with 6" outlet to quiet things down, but not sacrifice any hp over an open downpipe. (still very mean sounding just cruising around (video)

-3" to 4" turbo intake piping with large 4" I.D. mouth filter (filters without sacrificing performance)

    -24# Brand new bosch injectors

    -10:1 Vortech Fuel Management Unit

-Colder NGK spark plugs (2-steps colder with a spare set included with car)

-Oil Pressure line tapped right at turbo oil inlet for monitoring oil flow to turbo (cockpit a-pillar gauge)

-Stainless braided 4an Oil feed line with abrasion resisting blue covering.

-Aeroquip 10an oil drain with CNC turbo drain flange

-Blue anodized drain fitting welded to pan for a completely leak free seal above the oil line. Very free flowing from turbo protecting it's seals.

    -Bleed style homemade boost controller

    Engine Specs:

-Stock M20 B25 Internals with 120K original miles

-Waterpump/ T-belt changed at 95K, so about 30K miles before it needs a new one to be safe.

-Castrol Syntec 20w50 used since car was purchased (just changed again 50 miles ago along with filter)

-Oil Pan Has custom TIG welded diamondplate skidplate reinforcement to protect from any scraping that may occur.

-8mm Blue Silicone Ireland Engineering performance spark plug wires

    -///M Oil Cap

    -A/C system delete

    -Idle Air Controller Delete

-Power steering intact and perfectly functioning (fluid just replaced as well, although not needed)

-windshield washer bottle delete for turbo space.

    -New motor mounts

    Drivetrain:

-Manual Swap done at 118K miles Redline MTL used in tranny

-4 puck Racing clutch disk with stock sachs pressure plate. Clutch already broken in, and is very drivable, but grabs like no clutch ive driven before.

-Bavarian Autosport Short throw shift Kit A, Part # : 657NL1 (replaces entire linkage, shifter and bushings for a super short almost race feel shifter) Everyone who drives my car loves it.

-New Tranny mounts, Flex Guibo, Center Bearing, shifter bushings replaced druing swap.

    -4.10 LSD in good condition

    -Driveshaft dampner thingy removed

Suspension: All done by Previous Owner

-Racing Dynamics springs ~2" drop front and back, firm ride (pretty dang low)

-Yellow Koni Shocks/struts (pretty sure they can be adjusted)

-Fairly new CAB's from what P.O. said

-Billet CNC'd Rear Aluminum Shock Mounts

    Interior: 9/10 condition

-Black Vinyl manual adjusting seats with grey carpet in very good condition

-Bavarian Autosport Black embroidered floormats with Bav Auto logo in red

-Autometer Sport Comp Air Fuel gauge in custom laser cut plastic piece with jdturbocharging logo etched into it. (could be painted by buyer to match trim if desired)

-Autometer Autogauge Boost gauge mounted in Autometer mounting bracket on steering colum for easy reference.

-Black Sunpro Style line Volt/Oil Pressure/Water temp gauges in a-pillar mounting pods (all gauges are hooked up with exception to the water temp, which needs to be tee'd into one of the coolant lines, just havn't had time)

-300mm leather Victor steering wheel with bmw emblem/horn in center

-New OEM vinyl shift boot and knob, instaled after manual swap

    -aluminum pedals clutch and brake

-Aftermarket Kenwood rear speakers (not sure if fronts are aftermarket or not)

-Fully functional On Board Compter is included with the car.

    Exterior:

-Resprayed Factory Zinn. red Body in 8/10 condition with very few scratches and no noticeable dings or dents besides on the bottom sill behind the front passenger wheel. rust free

-Shadowline trim, with resprayed mirrors, and door bumper mouldings.

-15x7 Rial alloy Wheels with slightly polished lips

-30% tread 205/50/15 goodyears on the front and Brand new 225/50/16 Fulda's on the rear

-rolled rear fenders to accept wide tire size

    -Euro License plate filler

extra text that i couldn't fit in the top post

    Imperfections:

-Front lower valnce needs attention. Looks fine from 10 feet, but it has some grinding (from intercooler install) and a broken fog light, so a new paint spray would make it look as good as the rest of the car.

-AFM is missing cover in pictures, but an aluminum plate is now covering it.

-Front bumper was lightened by taking out impact material, so the front signals are missing, however the sides are not. I may have them in my garage and include them if you want to rig them up in the empty holes. The empty bumper makes it very easy to access the intercooler, or remove it if at the track (see pics with it on and off)

-there is a fuse that keeps blowing that controls some of the interor lighting like the gauge cluster and something else, cant remember off top of my head, so that bad connection needs to be traced. havn't had time to mess with it

-one of the high beams is really cloudy, but somehow still works. May as well replace all the lights with Ellipsoids or something sweet. Something i never got to.

-there are 3-little screw holes in the center console...but a new console that's not missing the rear ashtray could be found easily if it's an issue.

-CD player needs a new harness, as the old sony xplod stopped taking CD's. The Alpine headunit i will include is not in the pictures, but is a 45x4 unit that works perfectly.

-The radio antenna shaft is broken off, so not many radio stations can be picked up....i'd suggest just getting a new one, or XM if you like radio.

-Water temp gauge seems to work intermittently....could be the sensor, just noticed it the other day.

-some tools are missing from the trunks tool flap. a few wrenches and pliers i think are left.

    Other items included:

New spare tire on bottlecap (500 miles on tire, and 2 years old)

yeah, that's anthony's car that he traded me for my turbocharged '87 325is. Did the manual swap and turbo setup in a span of 3 weeks or so. It's been turbo for about 3 weeks now. I just had shoulder surgery, so i havn't been able to drive it for a week.

GL with the sale. Having turbocharged a previous car (non-E30) I did much better selling my setup by removing the turbo parts and selling those by themselves. I don't have a dog in this hunt, but wanted to offer the suggestion.

I've thought about that....but with only 1 of my arms that's working properly, doing any major work on it right now is kinda out of the question. I have a few people interested, But i'd like to just sell for money, and no trades since i just bought myself a 2K$ beater to get me around.

I saw a bone stock 325is going for 8,900 on here with the same mileage, with a nicer paint job, and some misc things like original reciepts and key tags or something (must be important to some), and a few accessories that could probably be had for 500 bucks total maybe, so i cant understand why there is so little interest in a clean turbo. maybe it's because it's going to snow for a lot of people soon?
