Car has been sold! fastest sale ive ever done.
This is a 1986 BMW 325e in good condition. The car spent its life in San Francisco and was moved to NJ by its previous owner around 2010. Car is currently stored in 07070.
I bought this as a project but never really did anything with it. It was not my primary car. I drove it a few times a year since I purchased it in 2012, around 3200 miles from 2012 until now. The odometer is flaky due to the gears on the numbers slipping. I have the parts to fix the odometer but never got around to it. The mileage was around 116K when I bought it and I estimate its around 119K now but the cluster shows 118,630 currently.
The car currently has 14" OEM wheels with Falken Ziex. I have another set of the same wheels with Vredestein winter tires.
Paint looks tired but isn't bad. Will need a clay bar and polish to get it to good condition.
The exhaust has a leak in the muffler and will need repair. The hangers on the muffler broke off and will need to be replaced. It currently is being held on with a metal strap.
The dash has several cracks which is common for the E30.
There is a rock chip in the windshield that was repaired (filled in).
Engine runs without issues and was able to pass the last emissions test in NJ. The car was sold to me with a Turner Motorsports performance chip and is currently installed. The stock chip is included.
High beams do not work - The fuse blows when you activate them.
One brake pad sensor is bad.
Power steering has a leak.
A/C has a slow leak.
Passenger side interior door handle is loose. Also the cover for the door opener.
Rear tail light malfunction light comes on from time to time but the lights are all functioning.
There are some small rust spots but I couldn't find anything major. Please look at the pictures and ask if you need more specific angles.
Battery was replaced a couple years ago.
Struts were replaced when I first got the car with bilsteins
