    WTB: clean low mileage '90-93 5sp 325ic

Wanted to buy: clean E30 5sp 325i convertible for my wife.

    MUST BE:
    '90+ (SRS, ABS)
    325i
    5 sp manual

    PREFER:
    clean car needing nothing
    orignal paint
    working ac
    serivce records
    recent emissions test
    recent safety inspection
    non-power top
    clear rear window
    red/black/silver
    black int/ tan second choice
    east coast
    low mileage

    ACCEPTABLE:
    quality suspension mods
    quality brake mods
    cat-back exhaust

    UNACCEPTABLE:
    Most engine mods

    POSSIBLY ACCEPTABLE:
Professional engine swap that will pass MD emissions and not detract from commuter drivability.

I have completed some serious expensive mods (suspension, head, cam, injectors, chip, AFM, IE exhaust, etc) on my wife's current '90 (non-SRS) vert... and she's decided she'd rather have a stock one, but one slightly later with SRS and ABS. I'll likely be selling hers later and only mention it here in case someone is considering doing the same to their stock car and might want to trade)

She doesn't like my E36 M3 vert and still prefers an E30 vert over the Boxster and SL500 she just drove...so she knows what she wants.

Serious cash buyer and absolutely willing to travel for the right car.

    Thanks!

Not exactly what you want, but:

    Major problem (for you) - it's a 318i, not a 325i.

    Other issues:

Higher miles, seats in bad shape (but I may have excellent condition replacement black front seats on the way), needs new rear window (but comes with hard top), missing molding between passenger front and rear windows, but I expect to fix that this weekend.

    Positives:

Great exterior for it's age, it's a '92, no mods - almost all original (except the radio), non power top, just had exhaust replaced, about to have it inspected so it will have just passed emissions/safety inspection, a/c works, and I'm on the East coast.

Let me know if you're interested.

    Dave

Thanks for the offers, but no interest at all in a 318 (this fiasco all started with the wife not being happy with the performance of the 325... this all occuring after her first drive in my E36 M3 vert... which she othersie hates)

However, Dave, assuming that I find what I'd looking for, I'd like to buy that hardtop from you. (I'd almost buy it anyway, but there's too much of a chance she might see something else she likes and move to that... especially if I don't find her the right 325ic quickly enough).

        Thanks!
        Bill
