    1977 Volkswagen Vanagon

    1977 Volkswagen Vanagon

New GEX engine installed by G.L Foreign and Domestic of Grand Ledge Michigan, the most experienced and well established foreign vehicle shop in mid-Michigan. Follow up 500 mile and 1000 mile inspections have been completed.

This vehicle has been lovingly taken care of by me and by its previous original owner. The original owner's manual and buyer's documentation have all been preserved.
This vehicle has very few, if any very minor imperfections; the only flaw is a minor dent on the bottom of the sliding door. The underbody has been sprayed and sealed. Engine compartment has been completely resealed as well. The seats are all in very good condition with no tears. The orange and white paint is vibrant and shiny. The camper is in very good condition with no tears in the canvas or screens and all zippers are in tact. Stored for harsh Michigan winters.
    • Brand new GEX 2.1 Liter VW Premium Air Cooled Engine
    • New Clutch Kit
    • New Exhaust
    • New Tailpipe
    • New Muffler
    • New Shocks
    • New Engine Seal
    • New Heater Valves

My dad drove a 1970 VW van from 1972 till 2000, brings back memories looking at that. First vehicle I ever drove, I operated the gas and brake and shifter and he did the clutch.

I love the shag carpet in the back. I have to be honest, it would give me much pleasure to see this cutting up cones at an autocross... But then again, maybve that's just my enviroment. Very nice VW.

Why is the body side shot obviously orange & white, but the motor shots show a yellow rear? Is there something you're not disclosing?

What kind of shape is the side-door hinge / track in?

It's not how you handle the good times, but the faith you keep in the bad that defines you.

The rear engine bay looks yellow on the top and bottom because of the flash.......if you look in the back you can see the orange. The door is in good shape except a bend in the far bottom right. It does close fine.
