    91 325i. M50 swap. Well sorted.

    Hey guys,

i don't think im gonna sell my car right now. Theres too many things i still wanna do to it. Its gonna take me too long to get the hood paint taken care of. Im at school all week so im really only free on the weekends and the shop isnt open. Im gonna have to get it done over a break or something.

I feel bad selling it needing control arms just because im not a fan of selling my problems for others to deal with.

its also been a goal of mine to have it faster than my dads e36 m3. Not just as fast as or a little quicker. It needs to be noticibly faster. haha. I cant let it go with out fufilling my goals!

Thanks very much for your interest and im sure it will be for sale sometime relatively soon (after it can spank an e36 M3 with intake, exhaust and a chip)

Thanks so much guys and i really appreciate the compliments!

    Chris

What's up with the control arm issue? That seems to be a common E30 issue? My IX that I just sold needed them because the ball joints were going out. Is that the case here?

Bump from a fellow CT member. Good luck with the sale. I know you just painted it and you were so enthusiastic about it. Aside from the control arm, why are you getting rid of it?:?

No longer stock ride height, rolling as low as a daily driver in New England should without worrying about breaking an oil pan.

Control arms are not why im getting rid of it haha. Its time for something new. Aka im bored and need a new project. Looking for an early 318 or eta car to drop another 24v motor in. Im hoping euro s50b30/32 but time will tell.

And i love Mtech 1 cars with euro bumps!

I will trade for an early car + cash. One thats been prety well maintained. Possiblly with suspension and some other upgrades. Motor is of no concern. The worse it runs the better :)

Its not bad. its alot more fun than your stock m20 e30 for sure but its still nothing spectacular. The Mark D chip really helped alot. My dads e36 M3 no longer feels fast. :)

                      It's faster than an e36 M3? I have an 87 325is with 89k miles and 2nd owner.

Im not saying its faster than his M. He wont race with me lol. Im just saying its comprable. I took him for a ride and he told me to redline 1 and 2 from a stop sign. I did and he giggled. I honestly think my car is alot more fun to drive than his M. His car is nicer on the highway though.

Info on the 87 is? Looking to trade?

Side note... This Post is my 666th ahhhhh thats creepy

Its bronzit/tan interior. Early Ryan G. Splitter, M-tech 1 wing, euro rear license plate filler... Timing belt and water pump were just done. Suspension: Bilstein Sports/ H&R race springs/ suspension techniques swaybar kit (22/19).

It's a clean car and runs really well.
