FS: 1989 325i Coupe Blk/Blk SOCAL (LA Area) Many Mods
EEE30BRK- As much as it is about getting the most for your money, it is also about paying what the car is really worth and not what its worth to the owner. Big difference. I bought my MINT 90 DINAN 325is. Everything was original and in BRAND NEW condition. Stage 2 koni adjustables, Strut. Chipped, exhaust, headers, perreli 6000 all alround. 150,000 miles on odom, and a binder thick of over 200 recipts. I bought the car for 4k.
That was the deal of a lifetime. You found an owner who didn't know or didn't care about what he had. You got very lucky. Congrats on picking up a sweet ride for a good price. Good E30s are finally increasing in value. It will keep all the ricer fanboys out of the BMW crowd. Except for the low budget E36s that is. 3K was a bit of a slap in the face. However, somewhere between 4K and 5K for this car would be a good price. It needs just a bit of elbow grease to be very nicley done.
I personally think the price of e30's owned by enthusiasts is being artificially increased. There is still an abundance of sub 2000 dollar OEM/Stock and sub 200,000mi cars that are clean out there.
