MR 325's 327 Turbo FS in PA

    link to original ad

I'm sure most of you know this car. It's MR 325's 1991 325 with a 2.7L stroker turbo motor. I bought the car from him more than a year ago, since then I have put less than 500 miles on the car. I purchased it with the intention of fitting a tec3r and tuning the car, but I was injured in an accident and I have not had the ability or time to work on this car much.

The car is very close to as it came to me, with some minor reconditioning.

    Improvements:

replaced both front seatbelts and buckles (pricey, but worth it for safety)
replaced all missing interior panels, except sunroof panel (as pictured)
New stereo, install is still incomplete and although the stereo works it's not fully hooked up.
    Replaced/repaired power steering system
    New front tie rods/alignment
    Replaced hood release cable
New muffler (car was too loud)
    Oil change, fluid change, etc
    Fixed high beams
    fixed fuel gauge
significant interior reconditioning (although it still smells like coconut in there a little. I found NINE air fresheners.... MATT!)
    fixed taillights

The car is being kept by my mechanic, who specializes in race cars. He drives it around once in a while and generally keeps it running. The car is ready to go and has a few minor problems:

to be safe I would retune the engine. The car runs fine and is reliable, but for maximum power/peace of mind I would replace the injector scaler with a standalone/piggy back ECU

the door locks are finnicky, possibly due to the alarm

    sunroof panels needs replaced

    there are no rear seatbelts

Steering is off center. The car is aligned, so the steering wheel is just not centered correctly. I just haven't had the time to correct this.

Everyone who knows the history of this car knows that it is well sorted and a beautifully built machine. I really only took it and fixed some problems and reconditioned it. The next buyer could drive the car as is or do some minor tune ups and have a serious beast on their hands. I paid $10,000 for this car IIRC. I'll sell it for $8,995, even after I put a few thousand dollars of work into it.

My baby!!! I miss this car SO much, I can't even put it in to words.

Good seller here, whoever picks up this car will not be disappointed. If I had the money, I'd buy it back in a heartbeat.

Thanks Matt! BTW, what was it with you and coconut air fresheners? I even found 2 or 3 crammed into the dash when I disassembled it for cleaning...

                          Thanks all!

The interior really is clean, I spent a LOT of time cleaning it out. To be honest, half of the reason why I replaced the seat buckles was to get the original red color back so it would look perfect again!

                          Money$hift - It's the S2000 antenna.

Been in love with this car before I even found R3V.

No longer stock ride height, rolling as low as a daily driver in New England should without worrying about breaking an oil pan.

Loved this car when matt owned it, still love it now. Was sad when he sold it, and sad to see it get sold again. And I'm still a broke college student
