***SOLD***** FS: 1986 BMW 318i S50 swap slicktop Malachite Green

    ***PRICE DROP TO $10,500

I've been toying with the idea of selling my swapped e30. I've had her for a few years now and have made a lot of improvements but I'm ready for the next project.

This is a real imported Euro chassis in Malachite Green, a euro only color with ~175k chassis miles. To my knowledge, it's the simplest and lightest e30 chassis available with the weight being ~2400 lbs. before the swap. Slicktop, no overhead check panel, no pop out rear windows, manual front windows. It's in great shape and running flawlessly, wouldn't hesitate to drive it anywhere. It has fresh oil (Liquid Moly) and filter, ready to drive for the next owner.

Looking for $12.5k. I'd consider a BRG Miata with hardtop in partial trade. Apologies for the poor photos, never been proud of my photography skills! Of course, I managed to forget to take engine bay photos, I'll add those soon.

    S50 from automatic 1995 BMW M3 ~70k miles TMU

Any chance you could add or DM a cold start video? Also interested if the AC works at all.

Hey I appreciate the interest. I've decided to hold off until spring and take some proper pictures before selling. That said, the car is located in Boulder, CO. If anyone is local and wants to take a look, let me know. Also, no A/C is installed. I considered putting it on but I wanted to keep the lightweight thing going and I only ever drive it on nice days anyways.

                      this is SICK

how do you like the horns? I'm finding myself using mine more and more frequently and want something with a little more oomph

I honestly thought the horns would be crazy loud, which is what I wanted, but they disappointed me a little bit. That said, they're perfectly functional and I'm still happy to have them. I will say I kinda wish I had painted the frames of them as I've gotten more than a couple of comments on them but it's not a big deal.

Decided to put this back on the market, hoping to have some garage space for the spring. Dropped the price from $14k to $12.5k, after seeing a bit of rust on the rear. For some reason R3V isn't letting me post anymore pictures. You can find them on my craigslist post here: https://boulder.craigslist.org/cto/d...102068197.html

Can't even tell you how many times I've looked through this whole thing. I'm just afraid of what it would take to title it in CA...
