I'm looking for a 5 speed 325is or 325i E30 in or near driving distance from NJ. Preferably a 1989 with short bumpers. But the most important factor is that I need something RUST FREE or damn close. I don't mind mechanical issues but I'm finishing a different restoration and I'm sick of body work. My budget is $12,000 depending on mileage and condition but I'm plenty flexible if it's the right car.
Big pluses for me are:
Cloth sport interiors.
Houndstooth.
Rare or oddball options and parts.
I'd also consider an e28 or e34 if anyone has a lead on one.
Edit: I'm not interested in verts at this time.
