FS: 1988 635csi - MINT condition! 2nd place at Sharkfest!

    1988 BMW 635 CSI
    127,000 miles
3 owner car - 1st in texas, 2nd in Nashville, and 3rd Chattanooga.
    Numerous service records
    Goregeous paint

Up for sale is an absolutely gorgeous 1988 635csi. This car is as nice as they come. My friend has owned this car for a little over 6 years. The car placed 2nd at the 2006 Sharkfest, and placed 3rd at the 2007 Sharkfest event in the concours. That is an acomplishment in itself as there are many mint condition cars that go to that event. The only reason it didnt 1st place is that the hood-shocks were not original.

    Exterior:
The exterior of this car is honestly in A++ condition. The only paint on the car that is not original is the hood. The hood was repainted due to a ding that went down to the metal. It was repainted before my friend purchased it, but it still looks flawless and matches perfectly. There is paperwork on the paintwork in the record folder. The paint is about flawless and free of scratches/dings/dents. Detaied and cleaned on a regular basis. Other than the paintwork (which is not a flaw) there are no major or minor flaws on the exterior.

    Interior:
The interior looks wonderful! The dash is perfect with ZERO cracks, not even a scratch. The previous owner have always kept a dash cover on it so it has no wear at all. All carpet is perfect. The drivers side seat had been reupholstered a few years ago and it matches perfectly to the rest of the interior. The rear seats look to have never been sat in before. All electronics work as they should with no issues. A/C is cold, and heat is hot. Both front and rear A/C units work. Interior is overall about flawless!

    Engine/Mechanical:
The motor runs great! Even with 127,000 the motor is a great powerplant. Always been adult driven and adult maintained. The car recently had a new battery put in. Also another recent upgrade is the new suspension. The factory SLS system has been replaced with upgraded Bilsteins and new springs. Very good improvment over stock! Rides and drives great! The 17" ASA wheels give it the classic/updated look. The tires have less than 8,000 miles on them. The wheels and slightly tinted windows are the only modifications to the vehicle.

    Price:
Asking $10,500 OBO. The car is well worth the price as youll be hard pressed to find a nicer E24 out there! the car is very well documented. Please feel free to ask me any questions. You can PM me or email and Ill get back with you as soon as I can. Thanks!

Do you know how easy a manual swap is for an E24? You won't find many in this condition. If I were looking for another E24, this would be an easy choice.
