Hello everyone. I purchased this e30 (1989 325i with LSD) from a nice lady who was the first owner of the car, with 161k miles. It has all the original documents from the dealership and all the work done on it over the years. Sadly about a year ago my brother was driving and got into an accident. My brother walked away safely thank god but according to him e30 is rock solid that can take a hit for what it's worth.
Since around that time I have had both health and financial issues. Now I am 100% in terms of health but the car is sadly not. I took it to a body shop a couple of days ago and he suggested the repair it self might take 1-2k maybe more. Repairs include straightening the radiator core, fender skirt and fixing the clutch fan
The engine runs fine, timing belt was replaced at 160k and it does drive. It seems there is also some kind of leak from the throttle body hose. I have the pics and video up.
As far as rust goes, previous owner had the underbelly of the car always coated as well as the engine bay. However there is one rust spot I wanted to give attention to down the line, it is in the trunk battery wheel well area.
I live in NY and don't have the sufficient tools and time to part it out, so just looking to sell
I will try to reach out to other e30 forums too.
Thank you e30 community
