Yep, there's a whole thing going on here. After my post above on the 2nd I got an unsolicited message from modenine:
I emailed with that person at length. They were not able to prove they were actually ClassicE30 , offered to ship without receiving the whole amount, and would not accept any payment that helped guarantee delivery (like cash-on-delivery with FedEx or UPS, or PayPal). "De Ye" claimed to be in California, OP's profile says Florida, eBay says South Carolina.
I saw that same eBay listing with the photos from this post. https://www.ebay.com/itm/354558095103
So many red flags, but I really want a fresh dash. 😭😆

FWIW, there is a guy on FB that does a nice job recovering E30 dashes in vinyl, for a stock look (BTW, he also recovers steering wheels.) As I recall, he charges about $700. Another guy on FB does a great job recovering dashes in leather, and they look awesome! Not cheap, I think around $2K, but still a bargain, even with shipping.
Both guys are in Eastern Europe. I should have their info saved, if anyone is interested.

I made a new thread for people to share more information on this here.

Same as above, if you have that info, might be good to share it here.
Trying to make a one stop thread for this going forward.

flipper325es do you have non-private links to Milan Milich's stuff? For those of us not on FB, or who aren't members of that group, they're not visible. Posting the images here (or in DEV0 E30 's thread) would be most appreciated.
