The Clear Cap is for the e28 or the e30. Technically it is for the e28 because of the hole for the valve that goes in the top, but I had it on my intensive wash tank for a while and it looked great. This cap is brand new.

The Red Cap is for the e28 or e30. Just like the clear cap, it is technically made for the e30. This shares the same part number as the clear cap however is actually a rare part. Much like the red screwdrivers, the red intensive wash caps have been replaced by clear caps with the same part number. So yes if you take the part number to the dealer they will order it for you, but it will always come as a clear cap. This cap is obviously used.

The Black Cap is brand new, it is meant for the e34 touring's rear washer tank but it also fits the intensive was tank on many other models including the e30 and e28 if you're into the black cap rather than a different color.
