Thanks, I had a hard time finding high beams with no pitting at the JY. My low beams are pretty much brand new, I can't believe they were still on the car, it was at the yard for a few months.

I have a full set of US ellipsoids, one high beam is cracked and one is really pitted, thats why I want better condition ones.

As for the price, when searching I have found that they go for $25-$40 shipped. I can get brand spankin new ones for $62. I would love to see pictures.

Edit: I just saw your edit, I would prefer not to have to take apart the unit so I will hold out for a full high beam unit. Thanks though!
