    well, if you tell them it is a battery, you will be charged the dangerous goods shipping price. seems like that increases the shipping cost about 3x.

        FYI, it's a dry cell battery which is not classified under a wet battery but a non-spillable battery. As long as you label the package as non-spillable battery, there is no extra hazard fee.
