Sorry, noob question, what are these made of and what's involved in repairing the damage around the exhaust outlet?

they are made of a urthane type plastic, flexible yet strong

You dont need to repair the heat marks really, just sand them flat and paint, they are underneath and hidden by the tailpipes

You would have to get ont he ground and look up to see the damage
