Bump ... with a story - I almost lost my moonroof today!!!

I'm driving along, windows up, roof closed, A/C on - I hear a wistle from the roof and a rattle - it turns out that the metal track separated from the glass on the passenger side - it's basically just bonded to the glass with adhesive. I pulled over before the glass completely separated, rolled the moonroof open so it was inside the roof and drove home to clean out my shorts.

A tube of glass adhesive (that black gooey sh1t that's brutal to get off your hands) an the track is re-bonded and good to go.

Note to moon roof owners - check bond between the track and the glass every once in a while ... you don't want these flying off at speed!

I work at an auto glass shop and we fabricate things like this all the time. Im gonna try and make one. Would people be interested in buying glass panels if I could make them?

I vote you buy it from White325is and use it as a template to start remaking them so when I'm not on a diet comprised of soup made from Taco Bell hot sauce packets and saltine crackers, I can get one. Free bump so someone other than me buys this. ;)
