    FS: Woodline Steering Wheel

    Edit: Sold

Looking for $250. This came with the car, but it's not really my style. The previous owner was very proud of it, he said it was a Nardi Woodline. The wood is in great condition, polished and very smooth to the touch. It is a little lighter in color than the picture suggests, and it is not as thick as it looks in the picture. I don't know why, but it looks thick in every picture I've taken of it.

The hub that comes with it is probably not a direct fit to E30. It goes on fine and drives without issue, so the splines are right. But the blinker cancel and the horn contacts do not match the column on my car. It might need a Nardi hub or adapter, or maybe it is for a later model BMW. It is off the car now, so I can turn it over and get a picture of the existing hub if you need it, or I can remove it if you don't want it.

    Questions, comments, and offers welcome.

        Updated with price, sorry all.

I swear I typed this up 3 times correctly with price, but I kept hitting the stupid "back" key next to my arrow keys, losing my entire post each time.

I'll take a picture of that and post it tonight.

edit: Here is a link, large pic. Shows the back of the wheel and the differently spaced holes the PO drilled in the hub mounting plate to match this wheel. Like I said, it installs fine and steers the car but the center mount is all wrong compared to actual E30 hubs.

I might be interested if you wanna take a low ball (basically, to fit my budget, you will be taking a fastball right in the nuts)

PM me what you want to do, I'm not stuck on $250 in cash. I'm sure we can come up with an interesting offer in trade or barter, and everyone's nuts can stay intact and unbruised.

Hmmmm...as I am desperately cash poor and have no where to do any of my normal work, the whole "get a job" thing is looking better and better.

You likely won't have that wheel then though...but damn, that would look mighty fine in an all black with wood E34 interior, wouldn't it?

Very pretty.... If my car matched this I would be all over it.
                  My car eats bentley manuals.
