Yellow High Beam, CSR Cibie- ONE SET ONLY

    Hey y'all,

Andy the newbie here, I have been very active on the E28 board, mye28.com, and thought it would be nice to help out the E30 fans too.

I found a set of incredible lights for sealed beam replacements, and put a set on my 1986 535i (E28 ) four years ago. I am VERY happy with them. They use the Complex Surface Reflector technology developed by Cibie in France (I know, I know). These lights use an H1 bulb, stock 55W, no wiring or relay issues. Incredible performance.

Last I heard, there is one set remaining of yellow High Beams, here is a link to see the COLOR, it's a low beam but it's the same color glass.

If you are really sick, there are three sets of the low beams, too.

Anyone want a totally unique look, these are one way to go. As I mentioned over on mye28, I will install the XPel headlight protection film on these before selling to you, as they are the last in the world, NLA. The stock is coming from Germany, and after this, bye bye forever.

If you just want to try yellow lights, I have yellow tint XPel film, way cheaper than these lights, but not as 'yellow' and certainly will not give the high performance these lights have. Like $11/pair plus shipping, sized correctly for BMW lights at 5.2" diameter. (Try getting that from BavAuto!) Also available for fogs. Also available in clear, my preference.

Thanks for looking, and nice to join you, I have a lot to learn from this group about the E30!

Oh, by the way, how about some high performance tail lights? Testing is taking place over at Guten Parts right now, more posts with pics later. Both early and late version tail light upgrades available. Designed and built for visibility, easy installation, and lasting quality, these follow my motto: "Be Seen, and Not Hurt."

          Yep

Last time I bought a set, it was $125 per, no bulbs. I expect these will be the same, unless they jack up the price again.

Also, Valeo says they have 'dismantled the production facility' so these are the last off them, unless more turn up. I have a source who is the NA distributor, so if he says they are all that is left, I trust him.

Wish there were more, but I have a sneaking suspicion the void will be filled by Hella, and at a lower price too! Their FreeForm reflector technology is reportedly using the same science they used at Cibie, who are owned by Valeo.

If so, then there are some REALLY good options out there to replace sealed beams.
